A/C Thread
I've been skimming through some of the older, outdated A/C threads and wanted to see if anyone has any up-to-date information on prices. I'm not looking for top of the line, more of a mid-range A/C (13 Seer, 2.5 ton). I noticed some of the older posts said they found a Goodman A/C and had it installed for $2k taxes in. Do deals like this still exist? I believe this thread had Holmes listed for the deal, but I noticed they don't sell Goodman. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

holmes sells lennox and bryant.. both good brands, bryant being the better of the two. (bryant=carrier)
2k prices can be found, "fly-by-nite-cooling" and others may have those prices, expect builder grade models with minimal or no warranty.
