Question Internet services in Half moon bay area

Greetings,

We will be moving in few weeks to half moon bay area close to Cambrian road. I know that there are already home occupied that were constructed by tamrack. What are the options for internet service in that area? Is Bell DSL available there? If yes then what's the bandwidth (e.g. 6 mbps or 12mbps or more)

BTW, is bell still offering the 613 area code in that community or they have started to offer the new area code? Somehow this reminds me of the seinfeld episode on new area code being launched in NY city ;-)

Thanks

I'm in Tamarack HMB. We have a 613-491-xxxx number. You will too.

Rogers cable or Bell DSL are available. Teksavvy told me they didn't do DSL in our area, but I think I just had a dumb salesperson that day.

I planning on switching to Teksavvy Cable when it's ready.

As for cable, talk to Tamarack, they may have a deal with Rogers (we got a bunch of things free for a year). Bell also left a notice on our door offering the same features free for 6 months.

cable is faster than dsl (the speed you get with dsl also depends on how far you are from the CO)

for now (according to teksavvy) cable is unthrottled, dsl is throttled
