Default What to do if Tarion says no?

It really sucks not having any power in these matters and you think Tarion would be on the Buyers side but they are not, we had a feeling from the minute the guy entered the house he's going to deny everything.

Long story short, counter in the kitchen changed colour, tarion wrote that they can see the change in colour from parts that still had it's original colour but was labeled it as "wear and tear" and stated it might have been the cleaners we used but we used cleaners recommended by the vendor. They never spoke to the vendors or anything and they closed the case even after sending them emails that we disagree. It was a cost issue between the vendor and the builder from what I understand, builder refused so we escalated to Tarion but they gave us the run around as well. When the vendor last inspected the counter they stated it was not our fault but I guess that never made it to Tarion or they never bothered looking.

We where told we can have another inspection if we don't agree with the first but the case has been closed completely, so not sure how to proceed other then taking them to the Licence Appeal Tribunal and then paying more money.

So if the manufacture (vendor?) says it was a problem with their product, why don't they take care of it then?

Unfortunately Tarion's Construction Performance Guidelines do not have any rules pertaining to your counters changing colour.
