Default cold air return question

hi everyone I have purchased a new home in Orleans and I have a question regarding cold air return. On the attached picture this is the wall I am planning to install my television. The television will be hung on this wall I was planning to get a wall floating audio unit on this wall so that I can cover all the plugs and the cold air return. will this be a problem
does anyone have any ideas what would be best thanks

You can hang this above the CAR but you cant block the airflow.

A shelf.. yes, do not block the airflow of the vent. Will cause some issues getting air around your house.

The ductwork most likely only goes down, so you should have nothing to worry about above the vent. You can simply unscrew it and take it off and look inside to be sure.

As for a TV stand in front, if it the legs are high enough so that air is still allowed to freely flow to the vent than it should be all good.
