Question what do you look for when buying a new house

I'm just wondering, when you have made up their mind on the area in which you want to buy the house, and there are multiple builders selling houses in that area with the square footage you want, what is the most important factor that helps you decide which house to buy?

1. Price of the house
2. Floor plan
3. Reputation of the builder
4. Or is it something else?

Default Location, location, location

I agree - location is the most important.

If the two places you are considering are the same square footage and in the same price range, then I would look at the floor plans (although some builders are willing to make some changes to accommodate buyers). Personally, I would rather buy a small house in a really good neighbourhood than the biggest house in a mediocre one.

That's my 2cents!

After location, price and floorplan are the most important. My wife and I are picky to death about things, so finding a nice house was difficult.
