Default mattamy North Oakville?

Any idea when they will put up the sales office and will start selling homes there. I have been waiting for that community for more then a year and heard that in January all the muncipilaty stuff finally is settled. There needs to be lot of planning and infrastructure stuff to go in.

Is it even worth to wait. Any info of what be earliet they will have first home build there.

Also what Land is owned by Mattamy in North Oakvill. Town of Oakville has released the map with information who own what part of land but I don't see the specific Mattamy name they must have another sister company or there agent/ Any one knows who?

It seems it will be Summer 2008 or fall thats what I was told by Mattamy Rep ...
offcourse thats conditional to city approval

Also it seems Mattamy's Sales Centre will be on the northeast corner of Dundas Street West and Proudfoot Trail

i attended the focus group for this new development. it looks like it is going to be a very nice community if their proposed plans hold true. i can't recall any townhomes in their presentation, but they had a whole bunch of nice floorplans/elevations for the detached homes ranging from 2000 sq ft. to over 3000. the smallest detached if i remember started from the low 400s. it'll be interesting to see what homes they will make available and at what price points. i am definitely keeping my eye on this development...

Yes very Nice Community with lots of trails and Natural Heritage as well as transit Public Parks .

The disadvantage is that as per city plan there will be very very few lots backing into Natural Heritage or private streets.

Yes the City of Oakville has the Conceptual Site Plan and the actual builder SitePlan should be very near to that since the applications were launched way back in 2005 but because of apeal process it was put on hold.

I love how much planning has went into it and the amount of Open space, Parks and Trails.

When you navigate to the following link and look at PDF documents there are number of maps embedded in those planning documents some of them showing the streets and lots and where will they be backing into.
