I am also interested to know... are there seperate schools for French and public.

I have 2 kids- one to grade 1 and the second one to pre-KG in Sept.

appreciate your response.. do we need an early registration for the Grade 1, or this is just a tranfer after we move. Looks like our house will be delayed until Oct/Nov.
Would you know the public or french immersion school..??

thx!

Clarksdale is the public school. It's dual track, so it's that school regardless of regular or french immersion.

Clarksdale on Mountainside??? That is pretty far...and not the best area.

"not the best area".. what does this mean. It is definitely far. Do we have any other option..?

we are thinking to not use the bus service and pick/drop kids on our own. Is this always optional to take a bus or not./

In my opinion, it is not a good area. Drive to Costco taking Mountainside then onto Industrial Drive and you will see what I am talking about. In addition, the student ratings for the school are poor.

If the pick up/drop off is an option for a different school, I would definitely be interested in that.

I'm really upset about the school that was selected.
