I went in to LNT at Merivale and it seemed to be the same as usual. The usual stuff on sale and marked down. I was able to use my 20% coupon so I don't know what everyone is talking about. Even the workers are unsure about the store closing down. They have acknowledge the stores in the states closing but not here. Anyways, like I said...I was able to use my 20% coupon.

Thanks for the info, we will check out L'n'T sometimes this weekend or next week. Not that we need a lot of stuff still but I am always up for a good deal.

I went to Linen 'N' Things on Merivale this past Monday (or was it Tuesday ) and absolutely no sign of liquidation! For all those who are based here in Ottawa if you go to Linen 'N' Things and discover the liquidation, please let us know

I stopped in at the one on Merivale today. The liquidation signs are up. Everything is still 10-30% off. They said discounts will likely get more aggressive as January approaches which is when they expect the store will close. They don't think they'll be receiving new stock. There is still lots of stock left but some of the things I was looking for were already gone. All sales are final.

Is the LNT liquidation a Canada/province-wide thing ?
I haven't seen any signs in the Mississauga location yet. It's sad to see it go, but let's take advantage of any potential deals while we can

LNT is now 50% to 75% but most are only 50%....and yes...things are still a tad to high in price...even with the 50% discount. Garbage can reg 280 sale for 140??? thats a lot.

They also remove a lot of on-sale tags from most products. I was going to get some curtain rods but they had some discounted stickers got peeled off. So it would be based on the "original" price which would be the higher price than normal
