Default Bluestar 36" models

Hi All,

I need some help from anyone who knows bluestar ranges. There are many models that i'm trying to choose from right now. All 36" but i can't seem to figure out the differences. Does anyone know the differences between these models?

- RCS366-IR

- RCS36IR (apparently discontinued)

- RCSIR36-V1 (Apparently discontinued)

- RCS366-IRV1

- RCS366BCN (Costco)

- RCS366BV1

Any help would be appreciated. THanks!

I won't be able to help definitively, but in my own research, I learned that the model that Costco sells is an improved/tweaked version of the RCS available currently from Bluestar in the US and through other dealers. There are apparently a few tweaks added and the only think you lose over the RNB model is the UltraNova 22K BTU burner.

Is there something in particular you're looking for in a model, or just comparing the various ones you've found? I didn't call BlueStar myself but was told that they're very pleasant to deal with and they could probably give you a good rundown.

thanks Trepex. After reading your post i thought...why the heck didn't i call Bluestar in the first place lol. So I called them, and apparently these days All RCS models are exactly the same as the one that Costco sells.

Apparently they all come with convection and 15K BTU burners now.....the reason I was asking is that i just ordered a 36" RCS model and the model number I was given was RCS366-IR......Bluestar told me it's the exact same range and that they use the IR designation for their own records when it's sold through a Canadian reseller.

I'm happy now
