What specs say the garage door is insulated? I don't this was included in adding insulation to the garage walls.

I saw it on the standard features specs, as did my neighbour and ottawabuyer above. Unless insulated garage door means something else...

As Reens09 said, it's on the standard spec sheet. Look through your purchasing agreement

"8ft tall insulated steel sectional garage door with window inserts as per elevation"

Found it. Isn't that what all garage doors are? I doubt that reens09 has a different door that is "thin metal".

Do any of you have actual foam insulation glued to your garage doors?

There are many types of 'steel' garage doors.

I dont see any insulation glued to our door. Its just the metal. Thats what i mean by thin metal, there does not appear to be any padding to indicate insulation unless it is between the metal and not visible to the naked eye. But another neighbour also sensed something is off.

Default garage door

I am with a different builder. We paid to upgrade our door to insulated.... you can tell ... it is way heavier and feels solid...it also has a sticker telling you about the door on the side edge... see where it says solid .... left side of photo under colour true white...

Oh thank you! I will go check our sticker now and report back

Edit: update - it appears we have thick cardboard so i think we are insulated. I guess its just a brutal winter. Thanks for your help

Hi neighbors! Can you recommend a good HVAC company for a new AC installation?
