Default "Ottawa Duct Cleaning"

Has anyone used Ottawa Duct Cleaning (http://www.ottawa-duct-cleaning.net/)? They have a good BBB rating but there's so many duct cleaning services out there, it's hard to tell which one's good/bad. Has anyone tried them? If so, how was your experience?

Additionally, if you have any recommendations on which particular company did a good job in the Ottawa area, that'd be great.

Thanks...

I used these guys on the current house

http://www.ductcleaningottawa.com/

Great price and very professional and personal. They did a great job and we saw an immediate difference

Thanks good2know... the info is great! The area was pretty new when we moved in so I think the construction around us caused a lot of dusts to flow into the home over the last couple of years.

Shadow, I've actually looked into that one as well and was wondering about them as well and got quotes from both of them:

Ottawa Duct Cleaning - $319 (http://www.ottawa-duct-cleaning.net/index.htm)
Duct Cleaning Ottawa - $405 (http://www.ductcleaningottawa.com/index.html)

Based on your review, I think I may go with Duct Cleaning Ottawa. It's $80 more but more than once I've heard good reviews for them.

If anybody else have any other feedback or other recommendations, please let me know. Thanks!

I'm thinking of going with Duct Cleaning Ottawa as well.

Would you guys recommend getting the ducts cleaned as soon as you move in? Or waiting a couple of months until the construction is finished around your house?

out in deer run, the new phase is upwind of existing properties - by a couple of blocks to where we are

they kick up enough dust that it blows that far and if you have windows open you get a film on everything

We waited until they were around the corner and there was less dust. But they did a great job - they even found a piece of ABS that had fallen into the furnace that we had the builder remove.

We plan on using them on the new house when the area is completed in the spring. You will know if you need it done is you are going through air filters like they are going out of style instead of every 3 months or so. Try that

Direct Energy also has a duct cleaning truck in ottawa. Dont have prices in front of me but im thinking in the 400$+ range. Depends on size of house/number of runs

We used Direct energy. It cost a little over 500 with tax, and we were able to pay 12 month equal payments payments on our enbridge bill. the cost depends on how many vents you have. i believe we have 22

I highly recommend GreenAir Ducting Cleaning: greenairdc.com

They were referred to us through a friend and did a great job. We also had them install a humidifier. The owner/technician (Jason) was courteous and professional, plus he gave us a group rate -- we had two neighbours use them as well, who were also happy with the service. He can give you an estimate by phone.
