I checked with Minto. They run fiber to the house. We can get very good download speeds. (AKA 1000gpbs... which is overkill).

Reens: Not sure which house yours are, but three beside the Juneberry looks like they have framed the first floor

Has anyone received any flyers or mailouts for promotions for internet/TV bundles? I called Bell and Rogers, but without an actual promo code, you're kind of stuck with whatever they're offering. Thanks!

no not yet. have you looked into home security? I wanted to go with ADT but we paid for the hardwiring through the design centre and ADT told me they only work with wireless....

I have, actually. I'm going to go with David at http://homemetal.com/. He seems very knowledgeable, and he's really helpful, too. I sent him a text asking for some information, and he called me back to discuss for a good 30 minutes. You pay for the system, but his monitoring prices are probably half was ADT would charge, and you get full service warranty on everything he installs as long as you keep monitoring.

EDIT: Re-reading this and I've noticed I sound like a shill (especially since I've only got like 9 posts). In any event, and just to be clear, I don't know David at all. Go with whatever company you like

I have called 3 or 4 companies so far but plan to call a few more. I couldn't believe some of the prices differences....ADT is asking for double what the company I like the most so far is charging.

Can I ask which company you're leaning towards? And what are you looking to get? We got pre-wired through Minto as well. I'm looking for two touchscreen keypads, sensors on doors and lower windows, motion sensors, and the ability to arm/disarm via cell

Home Metal suggested Bell for internet because it makes the cell arm/disarm much easier, apparently.

I've also pre-wired for security cameras, so I'll be installing cameras and a NVR soon enough.
