Default Moving Laundry from 2nd floor to basement

Does anyone have any experience with this thru the DC? MY husband and I dont really want laundry on the 2nd floor ( i know its a conveince) but I really dont want to deal with leakage from 2nd floor, the noise factor (our toddler very sensitive to noise while sleeping), etc... Do u know if there is an extra charge for moving the laundry from 2nd to basement?? I sure hope not
THanks!

For sure there will little for everychange you request at DC. the cost depends on how you move, if you want to keep teh current connections and add the additional laundry in basement would cost @ 250 -1100.
we were doing the same thing its costing 1100, to have additional laundry( water connection, drain pipe and tub) in basement.

we had this issue on our first home.....we asked the builder to moved the laundry room from 2nd floor to basement........we asked them to make the 2nd floor a computer area instead.....they did not charged us extra unless you want to keep all the pipes to the second floor and make new pipes for basement
