Does North Star have a website? I didn't realize they already completed a release.

Yes they do.. google north start homes and register. Theyre having another preview weekend and then they go on sale to the public Thanksgiving weekend (from what we were told when we went to sign the contracts)

We bought block 12 I think ? I might be wrong but its unit 1.. The Lily
We kind of have a diagnoal view of the pond

The towns range from 309,990 (1610 sq ft.) to 404,990 (2,724 sq ft.)

These are preview weekend prices. Also the basements are partially finished which is included in the total sq footage

The bonus package for the preview which ends this weekend is;

A/C Unit
5 Appliances
Extended upper cabinets in the kitchen ( Main floor has standard 9ft ceilings)
Natural Oak strip flooring on main floor ( stair case comes standard in natural oak )
3 piece rough-in in basement

We actually switched from the Iris model the other day to the Lily end.
Figured we could afford more and an end unit is always nicer!

We were on Block 10 Lot 3, now on Block 10 Lot 1.
We're on the side facing the future retirement home.

What's your closing date? Ours is Nov 24 2011, but I have a sinking feeling that will get pushed to 2012.

we're pretty excited to see the upgrade package (and pricing! ugh) as well.
We will probably stick to the basics unless we see any structural upgrades that we really want.
Anyone know what make/models the appliances will be? I'm sure we'll end up trying to upgrade the fridge/stove/washer/dryer...

Upgrades planned so far:
1) Upgrade underpadding on carpeted areas
2) Change stain of hardwood on stairs/floor from natural to something darker
3) Depending on the price, widen up the flooring from 2 1/4"
4) Conduit piping throughout the house (I'm a huge techie and I'm sure I'll run a ton of wiring)
