Default North Star Homes - King's Crossing Phase I

Hello all
I've created a group for King's Crossing home buyer to discuss their purchases and share information. Please fell free to join and to introduce yourself to your future neighbors.
http://www.buildinghomes.ca/communit...php?groupid=18

if you've been contacted by North Star for color selection and upgrades please share any thoughts/opinions for upgrade prices and if you think the prices are reasonable. Please feel free if you have any information of after market upgrades that can be done after the closing time that costs less than North Star is asking. for one I can think of pot lights prices that they are asking 250 each and I know it could be done by Mr Potlight for the fraction of this!

I don't see any replies here so I'm guessing not many people here bought a lot from North Star Homes
just wondering if anyone has received the register mail that changes the first tentative closing date. I checked the purchase agreement and it shows July 23rd as the deadline for changing the first closing date. so finger crossed if I don't get the mail in next couple of weeks then I should assume the closing date will not change.
I haven't been on the construction site but I hared from a friend who lives close by that not much is going on there except the hydro poles and no sing of hole in the ground yet. 3 months and two weeks to go, I'm not sure if they can do this

hummm no replies yet?I saw some actions this weekend on the construction site but nothing on my lot. here are few pics from other lots that got their footings and are getting ready to pure the foundations. with 3 months to go I doubt they can make it. I should expect to receive the delay letter by end of next week

Hi Norman,

Great work on setting his up
I guess it's just you and me on this page until the rest of the folks chime in.
I guess you're done picking your upgrades and colours?
This is our first house, so I'm pretty excited.

Hi every one
good to see some traffic here. I got a phone call from Silvia regarding the appliances voucher. has anyone else got the call or gone there for appliances? she told me they are close for August so this is the last week to do it or wait until September.

thanks krikork,
I picked up mine last week and checked out the store on the way too. the standard package doesn't look very promising they don't tell me the dollar value. I'll wait until November and look more into it for now. the stainless package is same quality only with stainless cover for extra $700. so I'm not sure if it really worth it.

Default Some actions finally

wow, looks like a lots of actions were going on last few weeks. Just checked the site this weekend and looks like the town houses are getting shape. finally there is a hole in our lot! funny when I asked for December closing they refused me last year and told me my lot has to be closed before the rest!
