Half Moon Bay - Phase 3

Does anyone have an idea when ground breaking starts for Phase 3 HMB ? My move in is May 2015.

I believe they should outline that when reviewing your Tarion warranty (they give you an estimate of when construction will start) during your offer to purchase meeting.

If you look at the map below, I believe Phase 3 for Mattamy Half Moon Bay South is located at the corner of Dundonald and River Mist

You are right, Tamarack is also building in the vicinity...Phase 2 may be under way as I believe they were close to selling out Phase 1 last I checked late last year.

Yes Its between Dundonal, Rivermist and Rue Des Soladts. I got my notice to pick windows as part of the Accelerated Dig Schedule... maybe they want to get the footings in before winter.

mattamy is building pretty aggressively there. I am still waiting for tamarak to catch up. Beside my street (Nutgrove av.) there is supposed to be a park (mattamy 1/3 and tamarak 2/3 of the land). Mattamy has finished its work on the land years ago. But still waiting for tamarak to build up to that ares so that they can finish the landscaping and hand it over to the city .

My house is being built on Mayfly Cres, i have a "start" date of December 15, 2014..I guess they will be digging by then hopefully.

I think Mattamy is building at a faster pace than Tamarack because they have a wider selection of homes at various price points that appeal to a bigger market whereas Tamarack has been building many detached homes in the area. They also offer towns and semis, yes they are more expensive than Mattamy's but they also offer more standards so it's a give and take.

I recently purchased a Maplefield End unit in Half Moon Bay, closing September 2016, but I don't know which phase that is.

Anyone else closing next year?
