Is your information accurate? Do you know any contact? I asked my agent no information yet. I guess she is not that VVIP, lol.

2.2 is crazy.. in this price you will get a much much better house (more frontage too) in Royal Orchard or Bayview Glen which are much more prestigious community

I kind of agree with you, although proximity somewhat is still a factor. I was looking at the other end too such as Nobleton area where that kind of money can afford me a little castle such as Gates of Nobleton from Tribute homes. Tough choice.

Estate homes are not even priced at that level... and these prices are in prime Thornhill area..

At those prices I think Upper West Side is a better option and not too far from that site. The homes and community will be very similar. If anybody is interested in a 50ft lot please PM me.

Upper West Side/Upper Thornhill Estates neighbourhood is definitely better with all detached luxury premium built. One of the best luxury detached communities built in the central north over the last decade.

Conveniently in between two GO lines (Maple and Richmond Hill), 10 mins from all major hwy (404, 400, 407 and Hwy 7), 10 mins from Wonderland and Vaughan Mills, 5 mins from Central Library on Yonge, Wave Pool, T&T supermarket, Yummy European supermarket and Walmart. Mixed culture community instead of all Chinese community in the east. Downsview subway extension to Hwy/Jane will be ready by 2017.

Personally, I think Observatory Hill is too close to those rental property area (on Major Mac & west of Bayview) and also those houses along Major Mac and west of Bayview are old and lot of them looks so beat up.
