Default White stained pickets

Does anyone have concerns with their white stained pickets? My son's are all pitted and chipped around the deeper grooves. Sundial is thinking this is normal becaused stained pickets are a cheaper grade wood. We think it is unacceptable. Rumour was that this was a big problem but the site supervisor was unaware of any complaints.

They sent someone to touch them up be he said it would take him a month to sand them smooth.

My wife's friend in Milton (Hollybank) had the same problem with their stairs.
They were stained and sealed very poorly, really bad quality workmanship. Lots of obvious drips/blobs. Hollybank was a disaster in general from what I understand. They had to have them resanded and finished.

Sorry to hear you are having the same problem.
