Default Remington Upgrades - Georgetown

Hi there! I was just wondering if there is anyone out there that has purchased a home from Remington in the River Rock Ridge community in Georgetown. My husband and I purchased a townhome and our appointment with the design studio is quickly approaching, could anyone give us an idea of what to expect in terms of pricing? We are looking to upgrade the kitchen, but don't know how much we should budget for granite countertops, upgrade 1 cabinetry and upgrade 1 tiles. Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Wow, no replies.... I've just purchases one of the 40 ft lots over by 8th line and 10th line, but dont close until Aug 2010. How did the design centre go with you guys. We looked at the design centre two weeks ago, only to find out they dont give us any price list until the actual appointment, which kinda sucks cause we would like to have an idea of how much we'll be spending in upgrades rather than getting stressed out at the design centre.

I was wondering if anybody has a pricelist for upgrades on the 40 foot lots, just so we might get an idea of what it would cost to do some upgrades. Were looking at stairs, floors and counter tops.

I assume you are referring to hardwood floors, they can easily be done after closing for less than what builders charge.
Granite counters can also be easily changed after for less $. But I would def. get hardwood stairs done with the builder.

Yeah, those were our main ones, i'd like to get an idea of how much the builder charges, then price it out with somebody else installing them, well at least the granite, and the hardwood floors, i would do the stair with the builder for sure. I did my floors in my last house, and did them very well, but took me a bit longer. Depending on the prices i get i may install my floors again. Plus i could see all the upgrades and prices like on the cabinets as well.

I checked out the link to your site, very good work, the stairs even turned out pretty nice too!

Default How about upper cabinet?

Do you have the upgrade price for taller upper cabinet? (30" --> 42"?)
