Kanata West Concept Plan
Anyone with news or rumours regarding proposals for new schools, shopping malls, residential, condos, roadways being made in the Kanata west area, please place them here!  From what I have read, a new Loblaws is being planned north of the 417 accross from Scotiabank place, a plaza is being proposed accross from Sobeys, and some schools are being proposed in the Mattamy fairwinds & Jackson Trails communities... Thanks!

There's an elementary school that will be built in jackson trails (english catholic). Loblaws is near the church / new minto arcadia. Roads will take forever but main street will eventually go up to the 417. The geniuses at the city also decided that most of hazeldean will be strip malls.

Yeah, since everyone in Kanata and Stittsville owns a car and likes getting in for a 30-second drive across the street to the next strip mall...
We got a quota to keep!
