Progress for Mattamy Phase 4 on Maple Grove

Thanks! I actually went there this morning and wanted to get out and peak into my house...but there were 2 trucks parked in my laneway and a guy sitting on my porch lol...so I just drove by slow. I forgot my camera as well. But wicked that you got to take some pictures of the street, did you go into your place or waiting til Wednesday?

brentstone - not yet! I got up on the porch and looked in the windows... Only electrical left! I'm sure my fiancée will take a few hundred pictures on Wednesday.

I was going to ask: what is the little thing above your garage? I thought it was a window?

oh, ha its some stupid 'fake window' thing...a dormer or something...they put plastic to make it look like a window. its kinda lame. but I can put a real window in its place down the road and make it like a skylight into my garage. its pretty tacky looking though. I already hate it.

Went by on Sunday. Things are progressingly nicely. I was glad to see the exterior of my place bricked. Inside is coming along as well, all electrical and plumbing is in.

I still have not gotten a call for the framewalk. Out of curiosity, who on the south side of Maple Grove (lots 116-128, and 154 units) have had their framewalk, and when is your closing date?

Closing: January 14th.
Framewalk: November 11th (tomorrow!).

I'm surprised to see some (i.e. WCN) have their framewalks already, but i guess they are far ahead on certain parts. even if your house sits there untouched for a month, i bet it's exciting just peeking around right now!

Yeah, I am surprised as well that WCN has had the framewalk already as WCN is closing right around the same time as me. It would be nice to get the framewalk over with so they can go ahead and start drywalling, etc as it will nice to see how things come together inside the house. Although they may start locking the door at that point.

If I was you I would give Mattamy a call just to inquire about your framewalk.
I remember when I was waiting for my appointment in the office they were making appointments for more lots around me for framewalks the following day.
It could be that they forgot, hopefully that is not the case.
But maybe they just need a friendly reminder.
