Default Maple Grove Road

1) Anyone know what is going in there/what the area is zoned for? The map given to us by Mattamy shows a huge rectangle stretched between montserrat and grenadine with "Lands not owned by Mattamy Homes" written on it.

EDIT:

2) what is the traffic like on maple grove? we are considering a home there.... i imagine on game nights it's fairly busy. Will it be staying at 2 lanes?

I once saw a site proposal on the City of Ottawa website that showed that the land was going to be developed by Tamarack.

I can no longer find the proposal on the City of Ottawa website though.

The kids catch their bus on MapleGrove and it is pretty busy in the morning and afternoon, but it is mostly construction vehicles. I am not a huge fan of parking our van, and I can't imagine trying to back out onto a busy street... Maybe once the construction is done it won't be so bad, but it is a major street, does anyone know if the speed limit might change when all the houses are complete? This might make a difference. Not sure if it will stay two lanes, but if it extends, their wouldn't be much front yard left for the homes on the street.....
Once you get past Huntmar the game traffic is no longer an issue. I got stuck at the four way stop once though, what a nightmare. Next time I will go the long way around and still make it home faster!

We are considering the queencliffe corner at maple grove and montserrat... i think the driveway points out to maple grove.

The traffic isn't a big issue to us...expanding to 4 lanes definitely would be.

I thought the driveway was on Montserrat, could be wrong, I walk the dog up there all the time. I didn't realize it was for sale. We are in the queencliffe corner at the other end, on Par-la-ville Circle. We love the model!
