Default Unfinished Basement

There is no door for my basement, and it is open to above from basement to main floor. I am wondering what is the best temporarily solution to cover/hide the "open view" to the unfinished basement in the 1st couple years before the basement can be decorated?

You have many options depending on what you want to do:
Off the top of my head ....
Drapery rod and put a set of drape panels up to cover the doorway
A "fast-fit" door kit which includes door and all framing/trim
Set of shutters (can purchase a long set)
Bamboo-like blinds (seen them in Ikea)
Vertical or horizontal blinds

Maybe post a picture of it so we can get a better idea to make comment.
