Default Heating while away for 30 days

I recently purchased a townhome in Orleans. I am going on vacation next week for 30 days. What is the ideal temperature to set at? Should I also unplug the water heater? I have tankless water heater. Any advice will be much appreciated

We set our lake house at 15 when away for extended periods. Keeps hardwood and any laminate happy. We also open all the closet doors, and especially the cabinet drawers under sinks.

Check your water heater manual for 'away' settings.

You should also shut off your main water valve and remove the pressure from the lines (flush your lowest toilet).

The top level of protection would be to drain all the lines (and toilet tanks) and pour some rv antifreeze in all the traps and toilet bowls.

Your insurance company may also require someone to check on the house every few days to ensure nothing has happened. We do this for a number of our clients as well as take pictures of a number of key areas and email them off.
We do everything for
