Default Protector for Under Chair Leg

So I got my dinette table and chairs today.

I put on the felt protectors and pushed the chair across the floor and it sounds like someone scratching their nails on a chalkboard plus a cat drowning. I also try the plastic ones that you nail into the bottom of the chair leg and it's a bit better but it still makes me cringe.

I can only conclude that it's because of the rough surface of the ceramic (standard) tiles.

Does anyone else have this problem? And were you able find something else that let you push the chair across the floor without all the racket.

I'm not sure if these would work on a rough tile but they slide really well on my smooth tile but it's worth a shot - they're blue sliders you can find at the dollar store. They come in 4 per pack. I personally don't like the felt ones b'c I find they collect dust and other particles on the floor.
