Default Hardwood Stairs Protector?

Hello,

Just wondering what everyone is putting on their hardwood stairs to prevent damage when moving?

I see during construction, Mattamy has a lot of paper, plastic and what looks like some kind of thick card board covering the stairs.

I was thinking bubble wrap but that may be dangerous because it is not level.

Please give your suggestions.

Thx!!

Good movers will have stair runners for your stairs, carpets and hardwood. Our movers were great and no damage done to our house.

Try to rent some stair runners somewhere. They are rubber backed so they don't slide around. Paper, plastic, etc will all slide around and becomes very dangerous.
