It would probably be less hassle to just mount it on the wall.
In order to correct the bowing, you need to place your re-enforcement horizontally, not vertically.

Thanks I will see if I can mount a steel bar today. I first wanted to do that but then I wanted the flexibility of moving the tv later.

the board has a monoprice wall mount on it. It is way more stable than the hanging mount Ikea sells.
I re-enforce the back with a L steel bar. ![]() the top still show a curve but I feel much better about it holding up now. ![]() |
