![]() My research indicates filling the cracks with polymeric sand can help address the issue but I am wondering if there are other suggestions. Is there different type of polymeric sand e.g can I just grab whatever available at Home Depot or do I need to get stuff from landscaping company? Thanks in advance. ![]() |

I've used polymeric sand to fill the gaps in the builder installed interlocking at my front door and the cracks in my driveway. It seems to work but I find I still need to apply after a few years. Maybe for your patio it will be OK because my driveway and front interlock are always shifting during the winter.

You'll need to power wash what's in the joints there now and then add polymeric sand. Polymeric sand needs min 1.5"-2" of depth to bond and cure.
It comes in different colours. I don't know what HD has. I've only bought from the local landscape yard.
