Default Mattamy included appliances HMB

I have recently put a deposit on a Appleby in HMB and am wondering what the credit you get for appliances is so I can budget how much I will need to get the ones I want

hmm that seems pretty low, its supposed to come with 3 appliances, I dont think it is possible to get 3 of the lowest model appliances for that amount of money. I have my 1st design studio appointment in 2 weeks so I'll bring it up then to get a concrete figure. Maybe someone who has closed can chime in before that though

They used to offer appliances (among other perks), but have retracted them for their "lower" pricing. Where abouts in HMB are you moving? Closing date soon?

If you search, there's a thread on this already - I have the voucher, and was told it's about $1500-1600. You can exchange it for a fridge, stove and dishwasher, or get the credit... im pretty sure the models u get for free are pretty low-end.

Maybe it's $1300+delivery/set-up?

You mean Baynes Sound Way? We are on Grand Canal Phase 2, and close April 2010. We have yet to receive our design catalog or design appointment. I guess they will be developing your area first before ours. From what I have gathered through discussions here (which are great and very informative) is that upgrades are VERY pricey. Best thing is to do everything structural through the builder and do some research in doing all else after closing. You can search for threads on some themes. I believe there is even one on Appleby with some pictures. We were thinking about one for my mom as well. Plus it is just down the street.

I just recently ordered my appliances and my credit was worth $1372 off the total. I was talking to my future neighbours at Mattamy U and they had told me that when they went to the Brick, they were told if they didn't upgrade their appliances, they'd still have to pay a couple hundred dollars for the standard appliances. They were upgrading regardless but doesn't make sense that one would have to pay if you didn't upgrade.
