It's interesting that they state they are a licensed retailer. Doubtful they are a licensed retailer for Nintendo when they also state they are obtaining these units from the US as opposed to through proper channels. No warranty.

Rosehill I would tread with caution here. I don't play games so I don't know whether the Wii is still hard to find in Ottawa or not but a couple of red flags from that posting/website

- Seller claims to have a lot of feedback, i looked up and down on his website and did not see anything

- If it is a legit company, you have to wonder why they are using GooglePages as a homepage?

- I don't have any experience using Google Checkout so I can't really comment on it but it looks like eBay added it to the prohibited payment services list

Remember, if it's too good to be true, it probably is. I would rather make a short drive to Syracuse and pick it up than to be out $249.

Cheers!

Sure.. wiis are sold out everywhere so instead of selling it for 280 + 60$ (ie: wii + wii play), he's selling everything for 250$. No red flag at all.. </sarcasm>

I seriously doubt this one. And there is a possibility that they are stolen and repackaged.

+1

If you're looking to get a Wii at regular price, use the Firefox+Check4change method. It scored me two of them a year ago.

Man, I'm really kicking myself now for not picking up a Wii (or 2, or a dozen) back in October.. I was at Costco and noticed they had an entire skid full of them on the floor. I didn't jump on it because I don't personally need one... but after seeing what demand was like over Christmas, I realized what I really should have done was buy up a bunch and then sell them on eBay. I could have made a killing.

They're not that rare, they do show up from time to time. I've seen 'em.
