Decor advice

So...I need some opinions on a dining room table/chairs.

We are moving into our new house in 6 weeks and just purchased some lighting. We also need to purchase a dining room table.

This is very similar to the chandelier we are placing in the dining room:



We are planning on buying a square dining table for the room, but I am unsure now what colour it should be. (It is more of a custom table, so there are many options for staining) I was thinking a very dark (black?) table with maybe creamy leather chairs. Do you think a black table, black chairs and a black chandelier is too much??

Our hardwood is oak with a dark walnut stain (not super dark-more chocolate looking), and the walls are neutral (creamy beige).

Open to suggestions! Thanks! (I realize we are doing this backward...it's probably much easier to match a chandelier to a table)

Considering the clear glass in the chandelier and all the other very dark items you mentioned... especially if you opt for the black chairs, wouldn't a solid glass table look smashing?
I love those that have the bevel on the underside.... very chic.
But just my taste of course

If you're thinking all black, I'd think that's too dark.

Thank you for your suggestions. I thought all black would be too much too, which is why I was thinking cream chairs. I think a glass table would look amazing, but we had a small glass table in our condo which seats 4. We are going to put it in the kitchen in the new house, so I wouldn't want 2 glass tables.

I really like that table, the fact that those 2 little seaters give it all different look. Where can you get that?
