Thanks Blade816. I would do the same thing if they give me upgrade bonus or i will request to upgrade my kitchen tile from standard to bigger size.

Wowo, just FYI what they told me is that the upgrade can't be something that has already been ordered for the house (no upgraded hardwood, tile, kitchen, etc.). It has to be something that can be easily added by the builder, without re-doing any ordering. So if electrical hasn't been done, then anything for that, or adding a central vaccum in the garage, or an air purifier/humidifier on the furnace.

I did ask for crown moulding but didn't get it, they said it's an expensive upgrade. I'm happy with the extra potlights, at least it's something.

we just got a second delay. now pushed from Aug to end of Nov.

It's been a while since I've read any negative feedback about the builder and any unfinished or poorly finished work. I know someone said that their experience became positive in the end, but what about everyone else? Is the work finally done? Is the nightmare finally over? Any sense of relief? I know you can't go back and undo the headaches and pain, but is it finally over?

I'm curious to know the end result because I am sure that we will all experience something.
