Just be nice to him and tell him you're not getting off the car

My husband has been by a few times and the security guard hasn't said anything except once he asked him what he was doing and he just said he was driving by to have a look and the guard said ok

The guard stopped me and told us that he wasn't supposed to permit people to go past, but I assured him that I was just driving through and wouldn't get out of the car. He said okay.

On my way out he stopped me, and I thought we were in trouble... turns out his car stalled and needed a boost. I ended up giving his battery a boost and told him, "Aren't you glad you let me through?" LOL

Hi everyone,

I drove by yesterday to check on my house, I am closing in exactly one month. It looked like the scaffolding was there for them to start bricking, and I could see that the drywall inside was done (couldn't tell if it was sanded yet).

So maybe they will actually be able to finish before my closing date. But I won't get my hopes up just yet!

The security guard was blocking the way to Gibson Circle so I couldn't go over there to provide any updates. But from what I saw they are framing houses WAY faster over there than any of the other phases. There's already roofs with shingles and installed windows on many of them.

Also as I was driving up Simcoe St. from Canal Rd, I noticed that there's an entrance to Gibson Circle from Simcoe St., but it was blocked off. It already had a street sign though and seemed to be paved.

Hi blade816,

Great progress!

My house is almost finished from outside and they are working to finish inside the house until my closing date.

I prefer going to see the progress of the house on sunday because nobody is working on the construction site, so i can go inside the house.
The security guard is fine and he allows me to go inside the house

Bank of Canada is planning to increase interest rate on July.
If the rates go up, what makes you think the rates for variable or fix is still attractive ?
