Default builder increases the house price because of "priority" lot

I hope to get some advices here before I talk to my lawyer tomorrow.

A day after signing the Purchase Agreement with my builder, the
sales agent told me that my lot (it's a cornet lot) is a priority
lot and hence, their architect has required to apply stones for the
front of the house. The minimum (i.e., could be more) cost for this is an extra $15,000.
Do you think they are allowed to do that? Note that there is nowhere
in the Purchase Agreement they mention about this $15,000. However,
in the Agreement, I saw there is one line saying: "Balance due on
closing (subject to adjustment): $xxx, xxx". Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Are you in your conditional period or is it a firm deal???
If it's a firm deal, you should be ok, but still check with your lawyer.
