A map would be helpful. Where exactly is this? Am I at risk?

Yeah, I'd like to know what developments this affects. I don't think it's Fairwinds but would be nice to know.

Yea I wasn't able to find a map - partly why I posted - I thought maybe someone else would know... I'm thinking that the proposed Richcraft and Minto communities might be more at risk as the the Carp river runs very close to these...

I think it's good that it's been held off. After the current flooding problems in my current home I would be leery of buying a home that has any identified risk of flooding that may be avoided by building the house in a different neighborhood.

There was 2nd article at the Citizen and here's a quote from it.

"For many years, development of the lands around Scotiabank Place has been a controversial issue,".

I wonder if it's the land south of the Queensway off Huntmar they are talking about.

I know they are planning on building in there but not sure who the builder(s) are.

Hmm.. interesting. The sensplex and smart tech building are included in that study. That means that Jackson Trails and Fairwinds are impacted by this. Good thing I did not buy in the "low" part of jackson trails!
