Default central vacuum help

My house is roughed in for a central vac. the only thing not done is hooking it up to the garage. In the basement, i have 2 pipes hanging down each with a wire attached to it. How do I hook up the pipe and wire and bring it out to the garage. I also want to put in an inlet valve in the basement.

You need pipe, fittings, glue, pipe cutter and some knowledge of how to put all of these together.

Connect all the pipes in the basement, run them out through a hole to the garage (which you need to cut) and connect everything up in the garage.

Always amazes me if someone is asking such a basic question maybe they should not be attempting to do the job themselves.

mark & lynda is (are?) right - call greg or another experienced installer - there are a lot of things that you'll only learn by doing and you'll be much happier that way. definitely money well spent.
