Default Help me pic some colours!!

Hey guys, I need some designer advice asap!!

I am trying to pick a colour to paint my wall with all the windows and fireplace. It is a main wall for the family room and off of the open kitchen. My walls are painted a neutral beige (builders paint).

I also want to paint my formal dinning room a color but not sure what to go with. Any advice would be great!!

My floors are walnut and my cabinets are dark brown with stainless steal handles. I took pics, just ignore the clutter and the chicken in the sink lol

Hi KellyM, how about this colour:

Maybe in your dinning room, you can have this colour on one wall and an accent colour (maybe chocolate brown) on the adjacent wall, creating a contrast.
