Rolling Meadows- Thorold

Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone else has purchased a home in the Rolling meadows community that Great Gulf is building in Thorold. We are looking at purchasing one of the homes currently being sold as part of phase one. If anyone has any suggestions, or reviews about Great Gulf, it would be most appreciated! Hopefully there are others who are buying/ looking to buy and we can meet some neighbours before we move.

Hi! It's great to see someone on here that is in the neighbourhood. You must be quite excited, your closing is only a few weeks away! How did you find the whole process? We just recently bought, and our closing is scheduled for the end of October. What lot are you?

We are lot 30.

To be perfectly honest, some things could have gone smoother. The sales rep at the site is fantastic...however, dealing with head office re: some things has not been great. We purchased a quick occupancy and are relocating...so we only a had a small window of time to book with the design centre and WE had to chase THEM for the appointment (That being said, the design centre representative was fantastic at our appointment..it was just the process of trying to get an appointment). We have also run into some issues with Great Gulf's lawyer re: our closing date.

All in all, the local service has been great but our experience with head office not so much lol

Wow, sorry to hear it didn't go so well. Ours has gone smoothly so far, but then again we are not so far in the process. Hopefully things continue to go well. We found the sales rep at the site has been fantastic at well, very helpful, informative, and welcoming.

We're lot 27! You are located right on the street behind us, not too far at all. What model are you? After changing our minds quite often, lol we settled on the colborne.

Sorry for the late response, we just returned from a much needed 2 week vacation! Glad to see the weather here is improving as well.

We currently live in Toronto so Niagara will be quite a change for us, but we are definitely excited.

The Erie is a great model, we had contemplated that one as well. Are you currently in the Niagara region? We've driven up a few times to look around and get a sense of the area and so far it's been great! Everyone's really friendly and we're loving the sense of community.

Nope! We're in Ottawa right now so it'll be a big change for us too

We had our PDI last Tuesday and we had very minimal issues to note. I was quite pleased!
