This sounds really strange but sorry Joe, I don't know what could be causing it.

On another note, I called Bell and it seems that the network is live now so we can connect or switch to Bell if we'd like.

I called Bell and met with a Supervisor yesterday who stressed it can't be from the fiber because the cables coming to the houses are dead and the cable on the street is just light and couldn't cause frequency issues like we're experiencing.

Does anybody have any ideas as to what's causing this?

Yeah, no problems with door openers here.

Any Internet service that new, with installation work still taking place toward Greenside? I'll pass for now. Seems like a recipe for flaky service.

Ignore them like I ignore my children and they will do something to get your attention.

All is well now, it went on for a couple of weeks until last Sunday, which is the day I called them to complain.

Not sure what this means.

I suspect we'll be hearing from them very soon, letstry.

Just that I'll let others be the guinea pigs until any teething problems are worked out in our area. Remember how Rogers was when we moved in.

Had mine installed on Friday. Just need to return the pvr box and modem to Rogers.

They have to run a fibre line from outside the house where ever they terminating the line coming in from the street to a main hub somewhere in the house. My basement is still unfinished so running and fishing the wire wasn't too bad. Just something to keep in mind if anyone decides to switch over.

The total install time was a few hours.

Thanks for the info, Cosimo.

So I guess they offered a sweeter deal than Rogers, or was it content and or hardware you found better?

Rogers hardware is a joke, IMO.
