Question New key of community mail box

My new house will be closing in next week.
I wonder how to get the new key of community mail box from Canada Post. They said that we should bring the proof of residence.

Purchase agreement works as well, or if you have your driver's license switched over already.

You have to call Canada Post first and inform them of your closing date. They will send a locksmith to change the lock on your assigned mailbox on the community mailbox. Once done, they will leave a notice on your door. It will direct you to closest post office location to pick up your key. In my case, it was the closest Shoppers Drug Mart with a Canada Post office. You show your ID and proof of ownership of the house.

This is going to sound ridiculous.
I now have my keys to the community mailbox. Instructions says to locate my box based on the numbers on the back of the envelope that the keys were sealed in.
My numbers are supposely in this format XXX-XXXX. I went to the mailbox and all I can find are numbers from 1 and upwards. Mind you I was at it at night and didn't want to look suspicious so I gave up.
Please help!

There should be a street name where to locate your mailbox - I know ours is a few streets away and there is a row of mailboxes - then it will say what number - ie. 23 or 9 or something which you can find on the mailbox unit itself (all of them are numbered) and then you look for your actual mailbox number. Are you in the Village Sq. location?

JDM613,

on you envelope there is a Module Number and a Comp Number

On the Super Boxes the top Corner (near the Canada Post Logo) would indicate your Module Number. Comp # would be your actual unit.

I would go to the closest Super box near your house and look at the Module Number. We didn't trust the address provided --- as it didn't make sense. And it was actually wrong!

Good Luck.
